Call for photo exhibition

EuroDEMOS Associatiation invites all those who wish to see how participants at the training 'The RIGHT Photo' and other selected active citizens (representatives of international communities) promoted their Human Rights vision through photography at the international exhibition „The RIGHT Photo” which is taking place in the POGOR Galleries from Iasi, form Thursday 15th of July to Sunday 15th of August 2010. ..............................................................................................................................

EuroDEMOS Associatiation invites all those who wish to promote their Human Rights vision through photography to participate in international exhibition „The RIGHT Photo”. The exhibition will take place in the POGOR Galleries from Iasi, Thursday 15 July at 12 o’clock. 

The exhibition will include photographs taken by representatives of organizations worldwide and photographs taken by participants in the European training The RIGHT Photo. At the photo exhibition will participate youth leaders present at the European training, moment when they express their vision of human rights transposed by photography.

Exhibition will be conducted by an important representative of the Council of Europe.

EuroDEMOS Association invites you to promote your view on HUMAN RIGHTS through photos at the International photo exhibition “The RIGHT Photo”!

EuroDEMOS is a Civic Attitudes Association, specialized in the last 20 years of voluntary activity in forming opinion leaders by developing civic programmes at mass level and on target groups, of defending human rights, democratic values and sustainable development.

EuroDEMOS Association will organise on 7-18 July 2010, in Iasi, Romania the European training “The RIGHT Photo”, funded with support from European Commission through Youth in Action Programme.

At the end of the training EuroDEMOS Association will organise in Iasi, Romania an International photo exhibition on HUMAN RIGHTS “The RIGHT Photo”.

If you want to promote your talent through photos we invite you to send maximum 5 photos with the theme HUMAN RIGHTS through which to show how you see human rights. We will print your photos and we will can promote your view on HUMAN RIGHTS though photographic art at the International Photo Exhibition „The RIGHT Photo”. Further on we will promote your photos through the blog of the European project “The RIGHT Photo”.

!!! The minimum resolution of the photos has to be 1024 × 768.

If you are interested please send us your photos together with the application form  below  signed and scanned (make click on the application form and save it) eurodemos@yahoo.com until 7th of July 2010 with the email subject FOR THE PHOTO EXHIBITION.

All the participants selected for the artistic quality of the photos and the photos’ message on human rights will receive on internet a Participation Diploma which will underline the international recognition of the talent in promoting the human rights through photographic art.

At the opening of the International Photo Exhibition “The RIGHT Photo” are invited the European participants that represent Estonia, Greece, Lithuania, Poland, Romania and Turkey at the training “The RIGHT Photo”; representatives of local authorities; representatives of mass-media; representatives of civil society and other stakeholders involved in the human rights defense domain. The opening will be made by an important representative of Council of Europe special guest at this project.

The selection of the photos will be made by auditors in quality field, evaluators of professional competences, trainers of trainers, members of the team who elaborated and legalized the occupational standards for two top professions in the image field.
